Donation FAQ

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes! North Collin County Habitat for Humanity (NCC Habitat) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Once the donation is processed, we send a letter/receipt to you for your tax records. The process may take 1-2 weeks from the time the donation is received.

How do I make a donation in someone’s honor? Or in memory of a loved one?

Donations to NCC Habitat make wonderful gift options for birthdays, memorials, and so on. When making the donation, simply let us know to whom you would like us to send the honor card (name/address of who should receive the card, and name of the person you are honoring.)

My company will match my donated amount. What do I do next?

Confirm that NCC Habitat meets your company’s requirements for gift matching. Complete your donation and send the Matching Gift Form (or related information) to our mailing address (Attn: Development Director.) Or you may fax the form to our fax number.  That’s it! Habitat for Humanity will take-over from there.  After confirming your donation, we begin processing the paperwork, and send it to your company for further processing.

May I give a "gift in kind?"

Absolutely! Gifts in kind are valuable to Habitat for Humanity. To donate subcontracting services (for work in electrical, plumbing, foundations, and air conditioning) contact our office and ask for the Building Director. Director of Construction
