EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant Public Meeting

North Collin County Habitat for Humanity will be conducting a Brownfield Cleanup Project in McKinney, Texas. They are requesting $35,000 for a Brownfield Cleanup Grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency for activities associated with the remediation and demolition of the home located at 603 Bumpas, McKinney, Texas.
As part of the grant award process, North Collin County Habitat for Humanity is required to obtain public input on the draft proposal and the Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA). Starting on October 27, 2017, draft grant proposal and Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup and Alternatives will be available for public review on NCC Habitat’s website (www.ncc-habitat.com) and at the organizations Administrative Offices located at 2060 Couch Drive in McKinney TX.
NCC Habitat will discuss the draft proposal, the draft ABCA, and consider response to comments at a public meeting on November 1, 2017 at 6:30 pm in the North Lounge of Old Settlers Recreation Center located at 1201 E. Louisiana Street in McKinney, TX.
NCC Habitat will consider, respond to and/or incorporate all substantial written comments provided by 4:00 pm November 1, 2017.
